The Quantitative Methods Research Group and the GIScience Research Group at the Royal Geographical Society with the IBG are offering four bursaries of up to £150 each to cover attendance at the GISRUK 2016 conference.
To be eligible for a bursary you will need to be registered for a PhD or Masters degree and have a full paper or poster accepted in the main programme as the lead author. More applications than bursaries are typically received, so they will be assigned on a competitive basis with later stage PhD students being giving priority.
Each bursary is worth up to £150 and can be used to cover fees. It requires that you attend the Early-career Researchers forum and the main conference and be a Postgraduate Fellow of the RGS (with IBG) (or prepared to join RGS-IBG if awarded a bursary).
